NEW - On this 1 day experimental Pate de Verre workshop you will explore model making, mould construction and inlayed coloured glass design.
The French term ‘Pate de Verre’ translates literally as 'paste of glass'. Although practiced in many variations, this course will focus upon the precise placement of coloured glass grains of various sizes into the interior of refractory moulds. By hand packing multiple layers of glass a diverse range of qualities can be achieved to produce delicate and unusual results.
